I once set up a class on basic greetings in Old Norse for those Vikings who wished to interact in persona. It was at an event and I had a good turnout and people enjoyed interacting in persona. Unhappily, I lost all my files to Katrina and I have had no requests in Trimaris to conduct such a class--of course in Trimaris teaching is considered a service and there are probably no Old Norse speakers among the Pelicans here. The Viking Society has some tapes on Old Norse but they are using Modern Icelandic speakers to reads the Old Norse. Verbum sap.
