Would the submitter consider a more period style of _two_ hands of Fatima?
"Per fess argent and azure, two hands of Fatima and a lotus flower counterchanged" seems clear.

Does this clarify the hand
would the device blazon be  Per fess argent and gules,   a hand of Fatima
and a lotus in profile counterchanged. be correct

for the badge   Would registering just the hand and lotus fieldless without
the bordure be clear of conflict.
