[ANSTHRLD] October Letter from Star

Greetings!

My apologies for delaying my monthly missive, I wanted to wait until I was
able to announce Countess Sara as Star, and then get the transition plan
hammered out. Star will transition at the January Crown Tournament.

Offices currently open include Sable Crane Pursuivant (Apps to Zod and the
current Sable Crane), and Armillary & Actuarius Pursuivants (Apps to
Tressure). If you have an interest in serving in the College, please don't
hesitate to inquire about these open positions.

I want to take a moment to impress upon those holding offices that
communication is the most important thing we can do. If you get a query
about a submission, or consultation request, from a submitter, or even
another officer, please work hard to respond to those requests and queries
in a timely fashion. Even if it is "I've received your question, and am
working to answer it." -- Lack of communication has become a big problem in
our Society, and I'd like us all to work to rectify that.

Please also keep in mind that electronic communication is only one form. If
you are serving as a local officer, I strongly encourage you to make a
concerted effort to attend your local business meetings and populace
meetings, so that you are better connected with your group; Simply turning
in reports is really not encouraged, we would like you actively
participating with your group. If you're unable to maintain this level of
interaction, please discuss it with your regional and come up with a plan
to make sure your group's needs are met.
