[ANSTHRLD] Ansteorran Heraldic & Scribal Symposium 2016 - Bids due by January 31, 2016

Due to a recent change in Kingdom policy regarding Kingdom event bids, bids
for AHSS are now due by January 31 of each year.

AHSS is an indoor event that is great for the hot summer months, with
attendance ranging from about 45 to about 85. Classes are coordinated by
Star Principal Herald and his or her staff (usually, but not
always, Tressure and Star Signet), so the only major requirements from the
hosting group are a steward/site liaison to coordinate logistics, a
facility, and usually some kind of lunch sideboard.

If you and your group are interested in hosting this event, now is a good
time to start looking for sites and preparing a bid. There is no set date
for this event. The summer months (Jun-Aug) seem to work best, but anything
between June and December without a direct conflict would be considered.

If you are bidding, please be mindful about selecting a date that does not
conflict with other major class-oriented events (like King's College - June
11).
