I think that some of the boxes still have those labels, but the
contents may have changed. Since we have an Archivist, we have a
place to put some of them.<br>

A good way to get started on a library is to do a couple of
things. First, make sure that you have a copy of the no photocopy
list handy. Second, read the ILoIs and LoIs just to see
what books keep coming up over and over. If you see an author
cited with no reference to a book, check the no photocopy list and
chances are, it is listed. Third, look at the submissions history
from your group on the HST and see what sorts of names have been coming
out of your area. Sometimes, some groups lean towards a
particular culture while others are all over the place. Armed
with that, you should be able to figure out where to invest the cash
for the most bang for your buck.<br>

While I haven't been book shopping online in a bit, I know that there
is more than one auction site for books. Check them often.
Also, make sure that you check out which edition you are bidding
on. That can matter. Happy shopping!<br>
