If the article comes out to less than 3 or 4 typeset pages, it would
probably be appropriate for TI. Longer works could be submitted to the
Compleat Anachronist as a booklet. I would also be willing to put period
medical info on my Chirurgeon's web site.

The SCA is very much interested in educational value, but to keep the
lawyers happy I have usually seen a disclaimer to the effect of "This
information is provided for educational use only. Medicinal preparations
should only be used after consultation with a qualified medical
practitioner." The Compleat Herbal in the Compleat Anachronist leads off
with similar wording. (I'm currently off on the first of my many road trips
for the year, so I don't have the appropriate references handy.
