The New Oxford Book of Food Plants (JG Vaughan, C Geissler) on sale for
$19.95 (from 39.95). 
  The previous edition is one of the 5 most useful books I have for
doing herbalism--gives name, picture, brief description of everything
from English wheat to fenugreek to jack fruit.  
   Their home page is www.oup-usa.org according to the catalog.
Sale through December I believe.
  there's lots else on sale--I fell for Oxford Illustrated History of
Medieval England...
