HERB - Midwifery

For demo purposes, I am interested in making a collection of herbs that a
midwife would use.  Unfortunately, I have very limited period sources on
midwife herbs and their uses.  Can anyone help?  I would like herb names,
what it was for, and the period reference.  Also, what period or near
period herb books are in print?  I have Culpeper already, but would like
more.  Thanks
