HERB - A query

If this message is inappropriate, my apologies.  Please feel free to let me
know if this is the case.

I have a dear friend in her 20's.  She has fibromyalga <sp.>, a form of
arthritis.  On her good days, she seems almost normal.  On her bad days,
she moves like a woman in her 80's.  She is currently doing physical
therapy (in a nice, heated pool) and is under the care of a physician.  But
she's gone through one doctor after another...and none of them actually
seem able to help her.  Nothing has helped -- at all.

Without asking for a diagnosis (she has had one for years) or a
"prescription" (she IS under the care of a physician, who oversees her
complete therapy)  {See, FDA?  Nice little disclaimer statement.}, does
anyone know of anything that might help with this condition?
