HERB - nep, mallow, skirrets--

Nep was sometimes catnip. Don't know why.

French mallows are curly mallows--Gerard says 
they are the only ones with any taste, and they
are still offered sometimes by herb speciality
seed companies. 

For skirrets, try Gurney's or one of the other 
family-owned, farm-oriented seed companies.

I have to leave you all for a while--Friday I'm
taking off for Galveston, down among you Texans.
(Don't tell me the weather is bad down there, unless
you are having an early hurricane!)
