HERB - Crocus=saffron?

While I'm happy to see someone willing to try growing Croci for saffron,
are you aware how labor intensive garnering the saffron is? It takes about
a zillion plants to produce a usable quantity of saffron, and I believe
that there are roasting and drying steps involved. You may want to research
this project a bit before you decide to take it on.
