Are you tearing up a lot but none of that pink eye stuff?
My daughter had something like that coming and going for over a week. Finally 
had to take her to the doctor, apparently she had had an allergic reaction, 
shes on drops and feels much better.  She was complaining of major itching 
before the drops.
Try flushing your eye out with water and using hot compresses.
