HERB - Herb-sic Date

Well, there's the first actual solid date.  Comments?  conflicts?
Alternatives?

My first thought was to get it mixed up with Labor Day, my second was good
idea. Will spring have hit lower IL by then? (All my family's up by Chicago
& Galva)
