I would like to share with you that I am 37 years old. I have been off
the pill for a year and it was very bad the first couple of months off,
let me tell you. Then a friend of mine told me what she uses, and I
tried it, and my cramps are gone, and I am totally regular! She told me
about Wild Yam Root cream. It works topically, through the skin. I
just put about a dime's size of cream on each breast, or along the
thighs, or under the upper arms, every morning. When my menses start, I
don't use the cream, and when the menses is over, I use it again. I
also exercise, drink plenty of water, lay off of sugar, flour, and,
(most importantly), caffeine. This combination has worked for me. I
realize other things will effect folks differently. Let me know if you
want some names of the products that are out there. I buy my cream at a
local healthfood store, and it is called Born Again Wild Yam Cream. It
was also suggested that I use cream that contains at least 90mg of the
yam extract, or it wouldn't be as effective. I also want to encourage
you to read as much as you can, and try some of these things out that
have been already suggested. Perhaps the guidence of a Naturopath would
be good?
Good luck,
Julie(Tea)
