HERB - Herb Class Help Needed

 One plant you might consider is plantain(Plantago major).   This very common
weed is both edible & medicinal and reportedly considered to be one of the
nine sacred herbs of the ancient Saxons.  The plant was brought to North
America by early European settlers  and quickly naturalized.  The Native
Americans called it "white man's foot" because it seemed to follow the white
settlers everywhere they went.
