Concerning rosemary: (was Re: HERB - lavender)

I had one that for several years was extremely happy under/beside a large 
rosebush.  During  a really mean winter it ended up a lovely silver, which I 
found out later was a mildew.  And croaked bigtime.  I have rosemaries in 
several places, one in a pot.  Hoping at least one will continue growing.
