I have read somewhere of a recipie for keeping roses and letting them bloom
in winter. If I recall correctly, you are supposed to pick long stem rose
buds, dip the ends in wax, and wrap in tissue paper, then store in a cool
place. Months later, in winter, you are supposed to be able to cut the
ends of the stems, place them in water, and they will bloom.

Did I get this right, and has anyone ever tried it??
