Good point on Strabo, I thought of him, but I figured the CAPITULARE's 
influence wouldn't necessarily require knowing Latin, and might have been 
relatively "standard" in monasteries.  Besides, the CAPITULARE list can be 
e-mailed a lot easier than the HORTULUS :).
