Clare and Hertha,

Thanks!  It explains why I couldn't find a modern name for them, they're still
called by the same name.  If they're as troublesome as they sound, I don't
think I'll be introducing them to the garden <G>.  BTW, Clare, I love the
site, thanks!

Is this true?  I could have sworn I'd seen something about the flowers being
edible, and I've never seen a warning to keep them away from children and
pets.
