A technical distinction: as long as the fluid from the blisters is clear,
it's just serum (blood fluids); if it turns color (yellow or green), then
it is pus, which is indicative of an infection.
Usually, the individual blisters are pretty small, but they cluster
together and can look like a single big one. People's reactions and
blister size may well vary though.
