Tricks?  Well, no, but when you mix up a URL like that, it ceases to be a URL.  The difference between slashes and backslashes, the hyphen instead of the underscore, and that ubiquitous blank space all work against you.  Here.  Try this one instead:

http://www.lib.lehigh.edu/exhibits/distill/french_I.html
