I hope you got the answers you needed about repellants for spiders and
wasps and had a pleasant Pennsic with no allergic reactions among your
companions.  I didn't have any good answers for repellants.

For future reference,  a dearth is a scarcity or shortage.  I think you
must have meant a plethora (overabundance) of spiders.
