I personally have not. And I think it's mostly because...well, it didn't
occur to me. :)  When I have entered A&S projects, I've used my own
vinegar and been sure to include information on making it in my docs.
Judges have always commented on this and been thankful that I tried
the process.

(I suppose they COULD have eaten my ointments without harm, but,
then, who would really WANT to? I've tried them and they taste....
greasy. It's like licking waxy butter. They weren't designed for
internal consumption.)

Rauthulfr, when you judge vinegar at an A&S, what do you look for?
Maybe that would help Elewyiss a bit too.
