HERB - Lynette-thanks

Sure, You can buy witch hazel in any drug store. It's good on cuts a
bruises too. By older I do not mean 25. I mean forties and older. (when
it really counts) Everyone at your age should have more oil in their skin.
When you hit 40 that all begins to change.
As far as acid soaps. That is kind of an oxymoron. However, you are in
luck, as we live in an age of artificial soaps know as detergents. Sounds
awful. But I don't mean laundry detergent. Detergent simply refers to
cleaners that are not actually soap. Look for products that are "pH
balanced" These will be slightly acidic. To give you and example of one
type of detergent, commercial hair shampoo is not soap, it is detergent.
Soap would actually strip oil from hair (can do this to skin too, but skin
can be irritated by this and actually be stimulated to produce more oil.)
Besides you can splash some vinegar on you face with out mixing up anything.
If it stings just dilute it a little with water. No these things are Not a
cure but may help a little.
Check with a pharmasist or with a skin salon for sepcific commercial
products that may help.
