I bought mine-- either from Deer Creek Herb Farms in Reading, from Village
Herb Shop in Blue Ball, or from Squire's Herbary in Bethlehem, I'm not
sure which-- about 3 years ago. Unfortunately, I just killed mine from not
watering (post autocrat brain fry). Keep it in a reasonably sunny place,
keep it warm and watered, and it does fine. Sometimes it'll drop down to
all but a few leaves, but it came back for me as long as I watered it.

Hm. Absinthe is wormwood liquor, traditionally, but you can buy 'absinthe'
without wormwood in it, which is basically anise-flavored. Perhaps that
is the scent they are referring to?
