Yes. (One to three doses every day) I think you're not understanding that
there's a differnce between a dietary fiber supplement and a "chemical"
laxative. Most fiber supplements are made of psyllium, which in some
cultures is a naturally occuring part of the diet. (See the earlier post
regarding the Diabetes rates in Indian populations) All the fiber does is
provide something for the body to push through during peristalsis. It makes
the digestive process more efficient and productive. Chemical laxatives tend
to be digestive stimulants and can therefore be more disruptive and
damaging.
