next question
what makes a herb/green bitter

short break while I go out to sample dandelion etc.the
dandelion wasn,t bad the flowering rocket was sweet
the borage was ok on the bitter side rosemary not
exactly yummy but acceptable, sage was bitter too cold
for parsely which I nevr thought of as bitter

what makes plants bitter chemistry wise- acolloids
Tannins?
and  what dose ascerbic-drying  come under

My partner calls things bitter that I'd call sour
sorrell as an example

our perception of taste is fascinating
