The approved oven method, by the way, is to leave the oven door open a
crack (you know, the cooling-cookies setting?) and set the oven on 250.
I've done this successfully with a toasteroven. However, oven doors set
ajar can be opened by sufficient cat pressure.  BTW, essential oils are
released during the heat drying process at a greater level than with
simple air drying, so if you're going to use the oven you may want to do
something that will destroy any trace of the essential oils in the oven.

The other thing to watch out for is that you don't want to be hanging
plant materials to dry in an attic unless it has no exposed insulation or
dirt. You can get around this by putting a (thin) paper bag over the
hanging bunch.
