Parsley, Sage, and rosemary are Emmenagogues, that is they can bring on
menstruation.
For terminating pregnancy, parsley is a helper herb. when used by itself it
will not cause abortion. It can be used as a tea, and combines well with <A HREF="http://www.sisterzeus.com/vit_c_ab.html">
vitamin c (ascorbic acid)</A>. A parsley pessary (vaginal insert) can aide in
softening the cervix, helping it to open, to prepare for release.

Rosemary causes uterine contractions.

There is less then a 50% chance of an herbal abortion working. What these
herbs were most commonly used for was a contraceptive, not an abortive (I
have been severely corrected by the woman running the herbal abortion list
lol - apologies for my gross misunderstanding!) and was used for 2-3 days
following sexual relations to  ensure that if the egg fertilized it did not
implant. I used the term "abortion" because in today's political climate for
some that IS an abortion.

To be truly abortificient, they would have to be combined with something
capable of expelling the fetus - Rue, Tansy, or Pennyroyal are common choices.
