[Herbalist] question

Sounds like my bug -bite lotion, always a popular item. The ingredients
are:
Alcohol, Echinacea Leaf and Root,

Plantain Leaf, Yellow Dock Root,

Garlic. Effective on stinging insect bites.

I can't find where I've typed in the recipe, and don't have time right now
to do it. (Sorry). The original came from "Growing and Using the Healing
Herbs" by Gaea and Shandor Weiss, listed as the Bee Sting Lotion.

It's basically a tincture, soak the ingredients in the alcohol, steep for a
while (I usually go two weeks), then strain. It is good on things other
than insect bites as well, we used it on a bad crepe myrtle allergic
reaction very successfully once as well.

  Subject: [Herbalist] question

Hi--I normally just lurk on this list but I have a tough question.

Some (considerable) time back someone posted to this list a recipe for a
salve that was effective on Recluse spider bites. I lost it when my
computer crashed.

Does anyone still have that info?

  Thanks in advance.
