[Hou-announce] Camwood work day Saturday June 30

Greetings All,

For those who haven't been keeping track, our local groups have had, or 
are planning to have, events at Camp Camwood in April, May, June, July, 
August, and October of this year.   It's time we spent a little bit of 
time helping the Girl Scouts to take care of the facility we use so 
regularly.

This Saturday, June 30 a group of us will be going out to Camp Camwood 
to continue our site maintenance projects.  We will be clearing out the 
brush that had grown up around the trees in and around the large 
pavilion and parking area.

If you are available to come out and help, the extra hands will 
certainly be appreciated.  Come dressed to work outdoors and if you have 
large pruners,  and similar items please bring those with you.  We could 
also use somebody with a flatbed trailer to help ease the hauling of the 
debris from our clearing efforts to the burn pile.

We will start at 9:30AM and work until we get too hot, tired, and hungry 
enough to decide we need to leave and go to Mike's Grill for a late lunch.

Of course all of these plans assume that the weather permits.  I will be 
watching the forecasts and weather closely up in this neck of the 
woods.  If you would like to be on the weather watch list then send me 
an email this week and I will put you on my list of people to notify via 
email around 9AM of any changes in plans due to the weather.
