I always forget this annual show is the first weekend in November in Houston, but it's this weekend:

  Even if you are not into quilts, this show brings a lot to offer other art mediums: 
  Costumers, art design, scribal arts (framing tools and techniques, and design aids), pattern makers and banner designers.
