[Hou-announce] OT - Bayou City Art Festival this weekend

For those in an artistic frame of mind and wanting to enjoy this fine weather, this weekend if the bi-annual Bayou City Art Festival:

  In the spring, the festival is held in Memorial Park, Friday thru Sunday.   There are great art objects for adults to check out and purchase, as well as many hands-on activities for the kiddo's, with food and music - should be a fun day.    Free parking with shuttle bus service is at Northwest Mall - wear your walking shoes, bring a hat.  
   
  The list of the artisans is found under 'MP Artists':  jewelers, potters, woodworkers, glass workers, painters, fiber artists... yes it's modern, but great for ideas and inspiration, and this is a juried art show, so you will see some of the best - prices vary from moderate to expensive - something for everyone.
