Ok, here is a bunch of activities, shows and events coming up this fall of SCA interest: 

* International Gem and Jewelry Show - Oct 9-11, 2009

* Bayou City Art Festival - Oct 10-11:

Juried art festival, with pottery and fine arts.

* International Quilt Festival - Oct. 15-18, 2009
George R. Brown Convention Center, good resouce for sewing and beading supplies, also some scribal framing gear.

NEW - Houston Museum of Nat'l Sciences in Sugar Land (New satelite site)

Like the Lord-of-the-Rings exhibit, this will highlight props and costumes
