[Hou-announce] REMINDER: This Saturday July 10th - ALL DAY CHARTER PAINTING PARTY in Stargate

Greetings,
A few quick reminders, as some have asked about the Charter Painting Party:  
- this is a non-SCA-garb activity; jeans and t-shirts are fine.  
- activity is an open-house, you can come for as long as you have time on 
Saturday, between 10am and 5pm.
- if you don't have scribal paint gear, we have loaner gear to give you.  
- you can be a first time painter, we'll show you how it's done, think 'paint by 
numbers'. 

- if you didn't RSVP, you can still come, just wanted a heads up to make sure we 
had enough chairs.  

- location is on the west side of Houston, near Beltway 8 (Sam Houston toll) and 
Clay Road, between I-10 and Hwy 290.

Not driving north to Namron for Crown Tourney to sit in the heat? 
Looking for some gentler arts to pursue in the cool of the house? 

Join us for an ALL DAY CHARTER PAINTING PARTY in Stargate!! 

Date:   JULY 10th, Saturday
Time:  10am till 5pm
           (feel free to come and go as need)
Location:  Lissa and Godwin's house, west side of Houston.  
            3003 Bernadette Ln, Houston, Tx  77043. 

Pot-luck lunch and snacks:  
Lissa plans a large soup pot of something savory.  
Suggested items to bring:  drinks, ice, fresh breads, desserts, chips & dips, 
fruits and salads and other yummie goodies.  
Let me know what is planned to be brought so we can limit duplications.  

Supplies: 
Bring your paints, brushes and scroll supplies.  
Stargate scribes guild supplies will be available to loan.  
Kingdom charter scrolls will be provided.   

Please RSVP, so we can make sure enough spaces are available.
