I was going to ask who the Coastal liaison was after I registered, now I know.

If you want to mail in your registration, next week is the last week
to do so! They must be postmarked by Jan. 31!

Online registration via ACCEPS is open until Feb. 18, so budget that
$60 into your next paycheck!  :)

A few things to remember about Gulf Wars:
- your help is always needed, volunteer for anything that sounds interesting!
- it's going to rain so put that rain fly on your tent when you set it
up, even if it is 90 degrees and sunny!
- pack a small piece of blue foam so you can cut inserts for your
shoes when your feet start hurting on Wednesday!
- eating four cookies a day from the bakery keeps your energy up.
Besides, who counts calories on vacation?!

Still trying to decide if you want to go? Look at pictures from
previous wars, it will get your blood pumping and the excitement will
begin!

Some unconfirmed rumors about this year:
- shower trailer!
- clean(er) porta-potties!
- new food merchants!
- a revamped schedule so you don't need to clone yourself to be
everywhere you want to be!

Once you have registered for the war, contact your local or regional
land coordinator and give them your information. This will help us to
make sure Ansteorra is allotted the proper amount of land for our
populace and gives us a chance to fix any goofs before you arrive.
There's no worse feeling than driving 14 or more hours to war to be
told your registration didn't go through!  :(
