In the video on the website it is edited<BR>with clips shot at lunchtime, but our segment went out live on the<BR>air.<BR><BR>We found out about the interview the day before, so we had zero prep<BR>time. I managed to grab costumes for us before heading out in the<BR>morning, and I took our poi just in case. I didn't know how many<BR>people would be there, nor what we would do, but we showed up to be<BR>supportive.<BR><BR>Talesia decided she wanted to spin poi, and that was fine. We had a<BR>short time to practice there at the studio before the camera rolled,<BR>and all went well. The cameraman told us 30 seconds, and THEN the<BR>noise started. Chk-chk-chk.
Chk-chk-chk-chk-chk.<BR>Chkchkchkchkchkchkchkchkchkchkchkchkchk... One of Talesia's poi sprang<BR>a leak! No time to fix it. T looked at me and asked what to do - I<BR>said "Keep spinning!" It sounded like hail pelting the mirrors behind<BR>us, and the floor in front of us, and we stepped on little plastic<BR>beads as the live interview went on behind us. With a cute 7-year-old,<BR>of course the camera focused on her. Little trooper, she kept spinning<BR>- the show must go on!<BR><BR>There were beads EVERYWHERE. We swept and cleaned, but the classes<BR>after us were still finding beads everywhere. One of Talesia's poi had<BR>completely deflated. You can't tell it in the video, it all looks<BR>great. I'm hoping this does great things for the school, they could<BR>REALLY use the exposure. There were a number of dancers in the clip,<BR>they did a great job, especially on short notice!<BR><BR>Hope you enjoy the video, please send it to anyone who might
