Yes, I talked to Philip about reserving spots for a few of us that may be
going back and forth all the time. He was going to check into making some
quick like.
I'll be meeting Philip at the site tomorrow afternoon to do a last minute
walk through and hand over the key and some signs.
Looks like my busload from Calontir will be arriving tomorrow evening, so I
have a lot of work to do here. (House Gruffydd Bed and Breakfast, anyone?).
That may delay my showing up on site.
Philip was looking for marshalling staves earlier when he called. Any luck,
Philip?
Also I borrowed some Christmas lights for hall decorations along with the
painted wall banners from Elfsea.
Everybody bring your table cloths and any extra drapes for the changing
tents. DON'T FORGET the SAFETY PINS!!!
Don't forget your own feast gear and mugs!
BTW, Saqra, thanks for keeping us updated on your progress. It really helps
to know how we can all help each other out.
Maria, are you going over to Willow's tomorrow to get the popups and
banners?
One day to go!!! Stay cool, eat and sleep well, pack your stuff tomorrow,
and get plenty of rest.
Getting excited!
Xene

You and everyone else had something else to do...noone showed up today!
But I got some good news at Central Market. Central Market is giving us a
good deal, and fresh baking our bread early Saturday morning, where I will
pick it up -- already sliced, bless them! I got sourdough (Her Majesty's
favorite), white (for those stubborn souls who won't try anything else),
whole wheat, and an absolutely fabulous multi-grain bread. Also, the deli
there is giving us a 10% discount on cheddar and swiss cheeses -- 2/3rds of
each will be sliced, and the rest will be ready to cube. I'm going in the
morning (Friday) to the Farmer's Market to get fruit and the rest of the
veggies and will probably spend the rest of the day cleaning, slicing,
dicing, and the rest of the prep. If you can drop by, I could welcome the
help, if not, I'll see you at the event!
Because I'm picking up the bread at 8 Saturday morning, I won't get to the
site until around 9. Did you get with Phillip about reserving a parking
space for me? It would be a tremendous help!
Saqra
