and the device is a white/silver rampent bunny on purple background with
gold diamonds surrounding. I never know how to describe it in hearldery
terms.

Have a happy day,

Greetings!

My son, Arnbjorn Ulfsson, put in the forms for his name at Warlord. I think
it's on the ILOI that will be coming out soon.

My alternative name is our for discussion right now. Ximena de Grifón y
Mendoza will probably pass as Ximena Grifón de Mendoza, but that's ok. I
talked to Emma at Wiesenfuer and that's what she thought the documentation
supported.

Xene

(I love names that start with an X - just to bother Daniel de Lincoln!)

hi my name is dianna and my sca name is gundren, i was working on my name
but i had to move all of the sudden from my old place and all my paper work
got left there and i am sure thrown away.  so i am interested in getting my
name passed and would love help.

thanks dianna

Greetings Lindenwood from your new Herald!

I'm not sure how I will proceed from here but I hope all of you will work
with me while I enter into this venture. I was a Herald for many areas in
the late 80's and early 90's.I had a reputation for helping people get what
they wanted for their name and device ( some where pretty bad but the owners
love them).I have a few reference books left and the rest of my heraldry
books and "stuff" was donated to Elfsea earlier this year. I will also have
new research items in the near future. I will work with you on getting your
name and device registered but I won't do all the work for you, after all
this is a learning tool.

I would like to get an idea of how many persons are in Lindenwood, how many
have their name and device registered and how many are working on their name
and device. I would like to start a book of Lindenwood Heraldry.

One of the items I would like to see in the future is for all of Lindenwood
to have banners, tunics or other items all done with their devices or badges
on them. It would be nice if Lindenwood had all of its own regalia (banners,
runners, table coverings, Pavilion, chairs etc.) with the Lindenwood device.
I know that we can all work together for this to happen. It would be a grand
showing when we have events!

I also have a basic heraldry handout I used many years ago for all my
household members to learn their heraldry. I am working on it and hopefully
will have some available at Elfsea Defender for Lindenwood members. Please
stop by and see me at Defender and sign the Lindenwood Register that will be
on a table in my pavilion. I will try and answer questions and listen to
your ideas of things we can accomplish together for the herald office. One
of my goals is for everyone to know basic heraldry another is period
ambiance at events.

It is a great feeling to walk along a path or around a list field and get
the feeling that you are back in the era of the day, those feelings don't
occur very often but they remain with you forever. It only takes a little
effort from everyone to create the dream. Heraldry plays a big part in that
dream!

My phone number is 972-937-2820, cell 972-935-6045, email ginlee at cnbcom.net
. See you at Elfsea Defender!

Always In Service,
Regina Gunnvor Morningstar
