Hey, Amra, I know the feeling!  My beloved contract that I was actually 
having FUN at cut me the week between Christmas and New Years.  The sadness was 
mitigated somewhat by having my manager cry as she did it.  Good luck in the job 
search...hoping particularly that the supposedly improving job market here 
will bring you back at least to Ansteorra.
