LR - how to fix a leak

Salutations, Good Gentles

I have come into possession of one of those pewter mugs with a glass bottom.   The glass is intact and doesn't move, but  has a slow leak.

Anyone have a suggestion on how to fix it and still be able to drink out of it or is it just a nice nick knack?
