many as Mad Ivan, who owned a booth at Scarborough Faire that sold
chainmaille for many years.

I picked up some high quality stainless rings from him not too long ago.
They're somewhat expensive, but they're stainless and have really smooth
closures(something desirable, especially if the piece is to be worn on bare
skin).  And also the fact that you're buying a product you can hold in your
hands and see the quality, not trust what's written on a website, is
re-assuring.  I've seen many internet deals go way bad...

Also, what is your friend planning on making?  I'm not sure if 5000 rings
will be enough, often people underestimate the amount of rings they need to
complete a project.
