This was on the Crimson Chimera list. Lady Gabrielle asked me to forward it to the Loch Ruadh list. Please that she thanks Loch Ruadh for the turkey dinner near the end of the
message :)

Subject: [the_wax_tablet] Thank you

Gulf breezes have already blown the signs of war just past
And hard work and play were had by all, just a memory to last
but merely a year, then it all begins once more.

That ball it bounces again and again, into our court you see.
Plans and gatherings, ideas and paints all a lot of fun for me.
But without your help, it could not be so let me say my thanks once more.

Dafydd at archery all day but willing to haul trash, build fire, first on
spot to do anything that needed done at a moment’s notice.

Elaine right there to help put food on the table and make sure things were
going okay.

Angharad pitching in on cleaning pots and pans when she saw I was swamped.

Eleri for being the kitchen fairy and cleaning up kitchen the night when I
stepped out expecting to find the kitchen still in a mess when I returned.
And for lending her stove for morning coffee and the work preparing the
jambalaya meal on Wednesday..

Jannet for seeing me when I broke down and cried because of the state of the
pavilion and kitchen area and took charge of putting things back in totes so
I could go to court.

Gradlon ever so quietly taking down the kitchen tent and getting it out of
the way Saturday night.

Karr and David If I needed trash to be taken out, find something in a tote,
haul things to and fro I needed only to look up and they were there. David
dug the trench in the rain.

Aleyn for painting the axes and cleaning the campground Sunday morning. He
and Dafydd made a run into town to get the propane tank working.

Godfrey: without him we would have had no lights in the encampment. He
spent hours converting the torches so we could use them and he provided the
pallets for the kitchen.

Cyrille found time to help out in the encampment, building fires and
attending to them, even after a hard day at the archery range. Thanks for
sharing space in your cooler too!.

Caitlin made a special run to get a Duke from An Tir to the war. She also
made sure that the fire was attended Saturday night and that water was in
place.

Alan McNeal for carrying pots and other things even though he was limping
about.

Scotti and Aine Although the rains and weather in general did not make for
good showers we did have hot water in the kitchen area thanks to Scotti’s
tank and pump.

The Krewe from Loch Ruadh for the most enjoyable fried turkey dinner
Thursday night.

Most everyone pitched in when called. Those mentioned here are especially
cited for their extra efforts to make the event happen.

THL Cristina de Asturias, Axemoor landcrat for Gulf Wars X.
