On the other hand, somebody squeezing your legs every 30 seconds or so
can keep you awake, especially once they've taken you off the more
powerful (or useful) pain relievers. :)

I'm sorry I did not provide an update yesterday. I had some catch-up
housework to do and forgot before I went to bed.

Lady Gabrielle is doing very well, though she is not particularly
comfortable. She sat up in the chair for a couple of hours yesterday
morning, then again for a few minutes in the afternoon. The doctor
expects to release her on Monday.

She is not at all averse to visitors. Phone calls are good, too, but she
can't really reach the phone to answer it when she's by herself.

In case I omitted it before, she's at All Saints on 8th Avenue in Fort
Worth, Building B, room 428A. (there is a 428 in building A, too) The
direct phone number is 817-922-1428.

She appreciates all well wishes she's received, both on the list and
privately through me. Thank you all!
