Bennigans?  it's just South of JoJo's on Hulen.  It's
a bit noisier, but their waitstaff is usually
competant.

Or perhaps Denny's?  Again it's south of JoJo's on
Hulen.  Haven't been in that one in about 3 years, so
I can't vouch for their waitstaff, but it may be worth
a shot...
