Are you relatively new to the SCA? Wondering what the odd terms you keep hearing mean, or how to address the Duchess you just met - or how to tell that she _is_ a Duchess, for that matter? Ten thousand questions and don't know where to start or who to ask?

Come to the SCA 101 session being held after Loch Ruadh's Fighter Practice on Saturday, 20 April. Fighter Practice is scheduled for 2:00pm, and we will get the SCA 101 started around 3:30pm. See below for directions.

Experienced SCA members will give short talks and answer questions on a variety of subjects to help you better understand the Society for Creative Anachronism - an entity that is often confusing and sometimes intimidating for the new member. And remember: we were all new members at one time ourselves, and had the same questions you have now, so don't think that a question might sound silly, or that someone will laugh at your lack of knowledge on a subject. The best way to learn is to ask those questions, and you'll find folk who are happy to provide answers.
