This is copied from two different posts on one of the NGs I read. Thought it
was worth passing on.
The website Medieval Illuminated Manuscripts presents almost 11000
unique illustrations from 400 illuminated manuscripts from the
Koninklijke Bibliotheek and the Museum Meermanno-Westreenianum in The
Hague, The Netherlands. The website provides a varied array of
beautiful illustrations for specialists in Medieval Art as well as for
occasional visitors looking for mere pretty pictures.
The Koninklijke Bibliotheek (KB) National Library of the Netherlands
in The Hague has a fantastic collection of medieval handscripts.
http://www.kb.nl/index-en.html The online material can also be very
usefull for researchers.
Their presentation and the digital quality of this fantastic material
is very cool. Pulldown the blue strings and enlarge. You can save the
JPG by rightclick > save image as.. F.I
