[Loch-Ruadh] We're Back

Welcome back, my fine Irish cousin. Sounds like you had a great time.
This is also to let all of you know that Conor, Kara and I arrived back from
Gulf War this evening...well, safe and tired. The trip out and back was
uneventful (yeah!!!) but we had a fantastic time while we were there. We
stayed the night in Hattiesburg last night, originally just to dodge the
possible impending thunderstorms forecast for last night and today (they did
not materialize last night). I then proceeded to get a call from my work
(while on vacation of all things!! Actually it was my third call) and upon
returning the call found out I was being sent out of town this coming week
for a couple of days on Tuesday morning. Rather than try to go back to site
and watch the fort battles and then try driving back late tonight, I decided
to head back this morning so I could get all my unpacking and washing done
tonight and tomorrow and then be ready to do whatever is needed of me by my
work come Monday morning.
That said, I don't know how the other War points turned out but I do know
that Ansteorra won both the Resurrection battle on Thursday and the Open
Field battles yesterday. The Resurrection battle was grueling from what I
was told and I have a lot of it on both video and digital images and will
try to get some of the pics posted later. I will let those that return
later tell their stories of valor, courage...and glorious deaths :) It's
good to be home :)

Sean

Amber and I are back safely from England - she wisely has today off to
recover from the trip, and I'm at work wishing that I had done the same. :(

We had a great time, despite having no email access for two weeks, so I'm
slowly going through emails and trying to catch up on everything.

We took about 700 pictures, and while a lot of them won't interest anyone
else, we've got some great shots of Warwick Castle, Stratford-Upon-Avon and
Stonehenge - I'll get them uploaded to where they can be seen as soon as
possible.

Hope to see everyone soon.

Padraig
