1274 The Second Council of Lyons convened under Gregory X. attended by
approximately 500 bishops, this council accomplished a temporary reunion of
the separated Eastern Orthodox churches with the Roman Catholic Church.

My former college roommate got to celebrate "the real Easter" with her
Eastern Orthodox sister-in-law on Sunday.  I used to enjoy living a block
away from a Greek Orthodox church's community center... once a year they had
a huge food festival.  Mmmm... baklava.
