[Loch-Ruadh] Question to woodworkers

There is a product called Spar Varnish that is alcohol/water resistant,
non-toxic and comes in a variety of glosses.  They used to put it on bar
tops.  It works pretty well.  There is also supposed to be a food safe
polyurethane out there that works the same way.  Also, there is always
paraffin.
